The Story
White walls, natural light, and a salon-style arrangement of woven Tonga baskets alongside framed African mask art — the most accessible entry point into Afrocentric interiors.
This is the package for clients who want light, not shadow. A cream sofa, jute rug, large greenery and a meticulously composed gallery wall. We pair circular woven baskets with ILE ONA carved masks at varied scales — creating rhythm without chaos. Coffee table styling with carved bowls and art books completes the editorial vignette.
Design Direction
- Symmetrical-but-organic basket arrangement around central mask art
- Natural fibre rug and mudcloth-inspired cushions
- Oversized greenery in woven planter for scale
- Carved wooden bowl and books on raw wood coffee table
